We’re going to show you how Physical Therapy can determine the source of your pain and start getting relief using 30-second self-tests…
A 30 second Self Test to Determine if the Origin of Pain is Coming from the Shoulder or the Neck...

How do you know if it’s your shoulder or your neck?
I’m going to show you a 30 second self test that you can do right here, right now, that’s going to be life-changing and help you figure out if it’s your shoulder causing your pain.

Let’s imagine it’s your right shoulder and you’re feeling achy and throbbing.
Your doctor told you maybe tendonitis. You’re not sure.
Here’s how you know if it’s really your shoulder and what I want you to do is take your hand that hurts you…

I’m going to turn around and show you how to do this… put your hand behind your back, like you’re scratching your middle back… and try to use your other hand to force your hand up all the way.

Once you force your hand up to the opposite shoulder blade… if you can do that and it doesn’t hurt when you force it… it’s probably not your shoulder that’s causing your pain… it’s probably your neck.

If it hurts and you feel stiffness and you can’t force your arm all the way up… it’s most likely coming from your shoulder.
It’s important to determine the root cause of your pain so that you can address it effectively.
The self-test is a great starting point to help narrow down the source of your discomfort.

Of course, if you have any concerns or questions please reach out to your trusted physical therapist for guidance.
They will be able to perform a more comprehensive evaluation and create a personalized treatment plan tailored specifically for you

It’s also important to have proper medical paperwork on file with your insurance provider in order for them to cover any necessary treatments your physical therapist can provide you with the appropriate paperwork so you can get the coverage that you need.
